Junior business development manager (7th October 2019)

Do you like healthy food in high quality? Are you motivated by how you can help to limit the negative impact on our climate from food? Are you interested in learning a lot about business development and in learning in a entrepreneurial environment? Then we might have the opportunity you look for!

Rooty offers healthy salads based on high quality, nordic, organic ingredients. Since our start in November 2018, we have grown a lot and are now ready to expand further into the B2B sales.

We offer an intern or student position as responsible for our business development. The tasks can potentially be integrated in a large project or thesis at your school. The role has high flexiblity regarding when you work and how you structure the tasks. We offer sparring and feedback with experienced business professionals with background from McKinsey, BCG, and Novo Nordisk from our investors and our Advisory Board.


The responsbility will cover:

  • Develop new business model for business customers (e.g. investment banks, law firms, consulting and advisory companies) and related marketing material

  • Implement the new business model with focus on establishing 10 business contracts

  • Develop a system for ongoing relationship management of B2B customers

  • Define and measure on most important metrics and report to the Advisory Board monthly

If interested, the role can be expanded to tasks within business development for B2C as well including retention of loyalty customers.

Number of hours expected at 15-25 per week.


We expect that you:

  • Have a background from bachelor or master studies at CBS, Copenhagen University or similar with focus on business development, sales or marketing, with good results

  • Have a high interest in healthy and high quality food

  • Work structured and with good analytical sense

  • Are good at building relations

  • Are passionate, diligent and puts in the effort required to succeed

  • Focus on your personal development
